Car plunges into suburban pool

A PREGNANT woman and her three-year-old son are lucky to have escaped serious injury yesterday afternoon after their car plunged into a suburban pool at Kenmore in Brisbane's west. The woman, believed to be eight months pregnant, had picked up her three-year-old from West Kenmore Kindergarten and Preschool around 2.30pm when she crashed through the fence of a residence behind the day care, down a drop of a few metres, and into the Palm Street pool.House owner John Pianto said he was "halfway down the stairwell" when he heard the crash.When he got outside two people from the kindergarten were getting the toddler out of the child seat in the back of the car and he helped pull the woman out."I got onto triple O right away," he said."A ...
